The Middle Tennessee quarterback was the star of the New Orleans Bowl last year. 3) Between the two teams, six of their last eight games were decided by six points or fewer.

NIU really is the MAC's best team, while Fresno State has the explosiveness on offense to make this an offensive show. The Humanitarian Bowl has been among the most competitive of all the bowls over the last several years.
And Why You Should Spend Your Time Roasting Your Chestnuts: NIU might be down after the MAC championship and with head coach Jerry Kill leaving for Minnesota. Fresno State doesn't have a consistent attack.
