Best ACC Game of the Season
Sept. 18  at Auburn 27 … Clemson 24 OT
In one of the hardest-hitting games of the year, Auburn got a 39-yard Wes Byrum field goal in overtime, and Clemson appeared to have tied it on a 26-yard Chandler Catanzaro kick. However, Clemson got nailed for an illegal procedure penalty to push the ball five yards back, and Catanzaro missed. CU scored the first two points of the game helped by two Kyle Parker to Jamie Harper touchdown passes, but Auburn roared back with 24 straight points highlighted by a 78-yard pass play to Terrell Zachery. Clemson tied it up at 24 on a two-yard Andre Ellington run, and neither team was in scoring range again in regulation.
