Five Louisiana-Lafayette Recruits You Should Care About
Player writeups by

1. FB/LB Alonzo Harris
Harris lines up at fullback for his Gadsden City team, and that's likely his best position on the college level as well. He runs with good balance and power, and he's a serviceable receiver out of the backfield. He lacks the change of direction of most top tier tailbacks, but he shows a willingness to put his facemask into any defender as a blocker. He has a good frame to keep getting bigger and play fullback in the 230-240 range.

2. RB Montrel Carter
5-9, 175,'s 116th ranked running back. Carter has excellent speed to get to the corner and take it the distance and he hits the hole fast and harder than a lot of guys his size. He maintains pretty good balance and can run through some arm tackles but getting stronger is something he needs to work on. He catches the ball pretty well out of the backfield and can also be a factor returning kicks.

3. OT Ezekiel Alsander
6-6, 275,'s 126th ranked offensive tackle

4. S Kenneth Proctor
6-0, 190,'s 150th ranked safety

5. OT Greg Siener
6-5, 260,'s 157th ranked offensive tackle

Five ULM Recruits You Should Care About
Player writeups by

1. QB Earnest Carrington
Has college size for a quarterback and has made great strides in his development since last season. Good arm strength that allows him to throw passes on a rope 20-30 yards deep and to throw in traffic. Does have a problem reading the rush and gets trapped in the backfield at times. He can break loose and run for big gains when available. Is incredible with the play fakes, better than most college quarterbacks at that.

2. WR Prince McJunkins
6-1, 175,'s 200th ranked receiver

3. LB Michael Johnson
6-2, 220,'s 62nd ranked middle linebacker

4. OG Ben Risenhoover

5. LB Hunter Kissinger

2. CB Eric Robinson-Berry
6-0, 170,'s 85th ranked cornerback

3. S Champ Lewis
6-2 175,'s 107th ranked safety

4. QB James Mauro
Throws a great lob pass to the corners. Above average sized quarterback who has some impressive bloodlines with two brothers in college. Can fire a pass down the middle also, so he can do a variety of passes. Very smart quarterback and shows it in his play.

5. QB Dyron Speight
6-0, 185,'s ranked quarterback
