2012 CFN Preseason M-West Off. Player of the Year - Senior RB Robbie Rouse.

He made a big splash two years ago with a phenomenal four-game stretch tearing off 769 yards and seven scores. Last year he managed to stay healthy for the entire season and was a workhorse tearing off 1,549 yards and 13 scores on 329 carries while catching 32 passes for 228 yards and a score. At 5-7 and 185 pounds he’s a smallish, quick back who’s a mortal lock to become the school’s all-time leading rusher needing just 317 yards – it’s not insane to think he could get that against Weber State if he was fed the ball enough. There are plenty of good players on both sides of the ball, but Rouse is the star of the show.

2012 CFN Preseason M-West Def. Player of the Year - Senior CB Leon McFadden.
He wasn’t the pick-off artist Larry Parker was, and he got toasted a little bit from time to time, but he’s fast, talented and good at locking down on most No. 1 targets. Quick enough to be the team’s top punt return option and physical enough to make 42 tackles, he can do a little of everything. He only made two interceptions last season and has five for his career, and it’ll be tough to get more with most teams likely to stay away from him.
