Week 10 WAC Fearless Predictions and Game Previews

Texas State (3-4) at Utah State (7-2) Nov. 3, 3:00

What Will Happen: The Utah State passing game should be able to roll at will on a Texas State team that can hold on to the ball for a little bit, but will run into a brick wall of an Aggie D that’s 11th in the nation allowing just 96 yards per game. This could get ugly, fast, especially if the Bobcats start to throw in an attempt to come back.

CFN Prediction: Utah State 48 … Texas State 17
ATS Consultants Line (Click for more lines and picks) Utah State -26.5 O/U: 51.5
Must Watch Rating (5 – The Man With The Iron Fists, 1 – Election coverage until Tuesday morning): 2

UTSA (5-3) at Louisiana Tech (7-1) Nov. 3, 4:00, ESPN3

What Will Happen: The Bulldogs are coming off a sluggish outing – they only put up 70 on Idaho.. UTSA played well early on, but has struggled now that the schedule has kicked in a bit. This will get ugly early in the second half as the Louisiana Tech offense keeps its groove going. The Roadrunners won’t be able to keep up the pace, even against a miserable defense that can get bombed on.

CFN Prediction: Louisiana Tech 58 … UTSA 17

San Jose State (6-2) at Idaho (1-7) Nov. 3, 5:00, ESPN3

What Will Happen: San Jose State will start to get fat. After blowing up UTSA and Texas State, the Spartans will make their bid for a bowl appearance with a blowout this week and win over New Mexico State to beef up the record. The Spartan passing game will throw at will against an Idaho defense that just gave up 70 to Louisiana Tech.
