Week 11 CFN WAC Fearless Predictions & Game Previews

San Jose State (7-2) at New Mexico State (1-8) Nov. 10, 3:30

What Will Happen: There’s still time for San Jose State to at least pick up at least a piece of the WAC title, but it’s going to take a huge win over Louisiana Tech to close out the regular season and a Utah State loss along the way. The passing game should have few problems ripping up a NMSU defense that’s not slowing down anyone lately. The bigger problem is an Aggie offense that scored just 28 points over the last three games.

CFN Prediction: San Jose State 41 … New Mexico State 14

Must Watch Rating (5 – Skyfall, 1 – Wreck It Ralph): 1.5

McNeese State (6-3) at UTSA (5-4) Nov. 10, 3:00

What Will Happen: The Roadrunners started out winning five games, but now they’re on a four-game losing streak with a tougher to schedule. Now things turn back the other way with Idaho next week and Texas State to close things out. However, McNeese State isn’t going to be a total pushover with a great ground game and an aggressive D that leads the way to a No. 4 turnover margin in FCS play. The MSU run defense should make this far more interesting than most of the games in the WAC this week.

CFN Prediction: UTSA 34 … McNeese State 31

Must Watch Rating (5 – Skyfall, 1 – Wreck It Ralph): 2

Louisiana Tech (8-1) at Texas State (3-5) Nov. 10, 7:00, Longhorn

What Will Happen: The Bulldog steamroller should continue. No, the defense still isn’t very good, and yes, there should be some problems against a Texas State attack that has just enough pop and firepower to make this interesting, but no one is going to stop the Tech offense but Tech. Can the Bobcat running game keep the Bulldogs off the field? Yes, but the points will still come quickly.

CFN Prediction: Louisiana Tech 42 … Texas State 24
ATS Consultants Line (Click for more lines and picks) Louisiana Tech -20 O/U: 71
Must Watch Rating (5 – Skyfall, 1 – Wreck It Ralph): 2

Idaho (1-8) at BYU (5-4) Nov. 10, 10:15, ESPNU

What Will Happen: BYU still doesn’t have its spot in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia wrapped up, but that should be all sewn up about six minutes after kickoff. Idaho is dead last in the nation in scoring without any consistency or luck. The Vandals haven’t even been close over the last few weeks, and they’ll be lucky to get more than seven points on the board in Provo.

CFN Prediction: BYU 55 … Idaho 10

Must Watch Rating (5 – Skyfall, 1 – Wreck It Ralph): 1
