Richard Cirminiello's Final Thoughts before the Week 11 games

Regardless of its chances to beat Wisconsin this Saturday, it's nice to see Indiana in a meaningful game. It's been a very long time coming.

If Miami is indeed ready to stand atop the Coastal Division of the ACC, let's see it go out and act like it on the road against a Virginia team that showed signs of life last Saturday.

Texas' recent mini-resurgence will only matter on a macro level if the team can win its final three games … including at Kansas State on Dec. 1.

Many signs point to Louisville suffering its first loss of the season at the Carrier Dome. Look for improved Syracuse to play its best game of the season, catching the Cards off guard.

North Carolina's Giovani Bernard might be the nation's best back that few off the Atlantic Coast know much about. The junior has authored quite an NFL salary run over the past few weeks.

If the Arizona offense rolls with B.J. Denker replacing concussed Matt Scott at quarterback, it'll be a very promising sign for the future of the spread in Tucson.

Believe it or not, USC still controls its own destiny in the Pac-12 South. A win this week over Arizona State will set up a delicious matchup with UCLA next Saturday in the Rose Bowl.

It's tough to imagine that high school defensive backs were trying to cover Marqise Lee two years ago.

Oklahoma has the Belldozer. On the Farm, Stanford now has its Tractor, powerful QB Kevin Hogan, who hopes to plow through the Oregon State D in his first career start this week.

Johnny Manziel vs. the Alabama D makes for good pre-game banter, but haven't we sort of seen this matchup already? Against Florida, LSU and Mississippi State, the rookie quarterback accounted for three touchdowns, none through the air. Against everyone else? 28 total touchdowns.

What does TCU's Gary Patterson have up his sleeve for Kansas State and Collin Klein? Patterson has one of the best defensive minds in the game, and you just know he's itching at the opportunity to make a statement in Fort Worth this week.

Underrated game at Ole Miss Saturday night. Winner between the Rebels and Vandy go bowling, which is never taken for granted on either campus.
