DL Texas DE Alex Okafor made eight tackles with 4.5 sacks and five tackles for loss with a forced fumble against Oregon State in the Alamo
DL Ohio DE Tremayne Scott made five tackles with two sacks and an interception against ULM in the V100 Independence Bowl
LB Rutgers LB Khaseem Greene made 11 tackles with a fumble recovered for a touchdown and came up with two quarterback hurries, 1.5 tackles for loss and half a sack against Virginia Tech in the Russell Athletic

DB Texas Tech S D.J. Johnson made a game-leading 14 tackles with the pick and 39-yard return that led to the game-winning score against Minnesota in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas
DB Vanderbilt S Kenny Ladler led the game with ten tackles with a pick and a fumble recovery against NC State in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl
DB TCU CB Jason Verrett made 12 tackles with two broken up passes and a tackle for loss against Michigan State in the Buffalo Wild Wings
