Thoughts: 1) USC is No. 2 despite losing to Oregon State, while
Utah is No. 4 with a win over Oregon State and with the Mountain West
going 6-1 vs. the Pac 10 in the regular season.
2) Boise State 13th and Oregon 9th, but Boise State beat the Ducks in
Eugene and has a better record
3) Ole Miss 15th and Texas Tech 12th despite the Rebel win over the Red
Raiders in the Cotton.
4) Missouri 16th, Oklahoma State 18th, but the Cowboys won in Columbia.
5) Georgia Tech is 22 and LSU 28 despite the Tiger blowout over the
Yellow Jackets in the Chick-fil-A
6) Michigan State is 24, California 25th. Cal beat Michigan State and
the two have the same record.
