2006 CFN All-WAC Team & Top 30 Players
Posted Dec 12, 2006

2006 CFN All-WAC Team, Top 30 Players, Top Position Players & Players of the Year.

WAC Bests, Worsts, and CFN's Team MVP Choices

WAC Player of the Year

Colt Brennan, QB Hawaii
The numbers are mind-boggling. 373 of 517 (72%) for 4,990 yards and 53 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions to go along with 351 rushing yards and five scores. He's the perfect fit for the Hawaii offense and should only get better with more time in the system. He's not Timmy Chang; he's a legitimate pro prospect who's cranking out 400-yard games like they were expected.

Defensive Player of the Year - Korey Hall, LB Boise State
Other WAC players made more tackles and others made just as many big plays, but Hall was the leader of the WAC's top defense and a consistent rock against the run all year long. He was also fantastic in pass coverage coming up with six interceptions.
