Week 1

Washington
at Syracuse
While it wouldn’t exactly be like beating USC, a nationally televised
win over the Huskies would do wonders for the floundering Orange.
Week 2 -
South Florida at Auburn
Watch for this to be everyone’s sleeper upset game. USF could have
enough on defense to pull it off.
Week 3 -
West Virginia at Maryland
Maryland is loaded with talent and will be the sleeper in the ACC title
race. The Mountaineers will only have had four days to prepare after
playing Marshall.
Week 4 -
Connecticut at Pitt
The start of the Big East season for both teams, Pitt can’t afford to
drop any conference home games.
Week 5 -
West Virginia at South Florida
If USF really wants to establish itself as a player in the Big East
race, it needs to come up with the win.
Week 6

Cincinnati at Rutgers
Utah at Louisville will be the most entertaining game of the week.
Rutgers’ try for revenge after getting blasted last year by the Bearcats
will get more Big East attention.
Week 7 -
Louisville at Cincinnati
If UC wants to survive the Big East season, it needs to pull off the
home upset. It’ll be coming off a trip to Rutgers and has dates at Pitt
and South Florida to follow.
Week 8 -
South Florida at Rutgers
Certain to be entertaining, this is USF’s toughest Big East road game
until the season final at Pitt.
Week 9 -
West Virginia at Rutgers
If West Virginia gets by South Florida, this is the last big road
obstacle with Louisville and Pitt to come to Morgantown.
Week 10 -
Rutgers at Connecticut
Cincinnati at South Florida might be just as big. Rutgers might be on
letdown alert after playing USF and West Virginia.
Week 11 -
Louisville at West Virginia
The Big East game of the year will determine the BCS bid one way or
another.
Week 12 -
Louisville at South Florida
South Florida always seems to come up with an ambush in games like this.
This is part two of Louisville’s three-game Big East season with West
Virginia the week before and Rutgers still to go.
Week 13 -
South Florida at Pitt
Don’t discount Pitt from the Big East title chase. With a trip to West
Virginia still to play, the Panthers have to hope the Bulls can’t handle
the cold weather.
Week 14 – Rutgers at Louisville
West Virginia at Pitt is always big, but this might be the game for a
national title shot for Rutgers, who gets South Florida, West Virginia
and Pitt at home. This is its toughest road game of the year by far.
