Player of the week

Kansas State WR Jordy Nelson caught 12 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, and returned a punt 89 yards for a touchdown in the 41-21 win over Texas.

1. QB Andre Woodson, Sr. Kentucky
Woodson completed 26 of 33 passes for 301 yards and five touchdowns with an interception in the 45-17 win over Florida Atlantic.

2. WR Michael Crabtree, RFr. Texas Tech
Crabtree caught eight passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns in the 75-7 win over Northwestern State.. He has 60 catches for 920 yards and 14 touchdowns in five games.

3. QB Matt Ryan, Sr. Boston College
Ryan completed  24 of 42 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in the 24-14 win over Massachusetts.

4. RB Darren McFadden, Jr. Arkansas
McFadden ran 19 times for 138 yards and two touchdowns in the 66-7 win over North Texas.

QB Colt Brennan, Sr. Hawaii
Brennan completed 30 of 49 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns with five interceptions in the 48-20 win over Idaho.

Hill ran 34 times for 155 yards and two touchdowns in the 37-34 win over Michigan State.

7. RB Mike Hart, Sr. Michigan

Hart ran 30 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in the 28-16 win over Northwestern..

8. QB Tim Tebow, Soph. Florida

Tebow completed 20 of 27 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown with an interception, and ran 19 times for 75 yards and a score, in the 20-17 loss to Auburn.

QB Graham Harrell, Jr. Texas Tech
Harrell completed 26 of 40 passes for 338 yards and five touchdowns in the 75-7 win over Northwestern State.
