Player of the week

Texas RB Jamaal Charles ran 33 times for 290 yards and three touchdowns in the win over Nebraska

1. QB Matt Ryan, Sr. Boston College
Ryan completed 25 of 52 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in the win over Virginia Tech.

2. QB Dennis Dixon, Sr. Oregon
Dixon completed 16 of 25 passes for 157 yards, and ran 17 times for 76 yards and a score in the win over USC.

3. QB Tim Tebow, Soph. Florida
Tebow completed 14 of 22 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown in the 42-30 loss to Georgia

4. QB Colt Brennan, Sr. Hawaii
Brennan completed 29 of 46 passes for 425 yards and six touchdowns with an interception in the win over New Mexico State.

White completed 10 of 16 passes for 144 yards, and ran 22 times for 156 yards and a touchdown, in the win over Rutgers.

Boeckman completed 19 of 26 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns with an interception in the win over Penn State.
