Thomas Weber, Fr. Arizona State
22 of 23 on field goals, 42-44 extra points
Weber missed one field goal as a vital cog for a Sun Devil
offense that often struggled with its consistency. He didn't
just nail a bunch of kicks from short range, he also
connected all six of his field goal attempts from 40 yards
and out including a 53-yarder.

Durant Brooks, Sr. Georgia Tech
61 kicks for 2,778 yards, 45.5 average, 30 inside the
20, 19 fair catches
Brooks might not have led the nation in punting average, but
that's partly because he blasted 30 kicks inside the 20 and
forced 19 fair catches as the nation's most consistent
kicker. That's not to say he wasn't able to show off a big
leg, he cranked out a 77-yard bomb.
Second Team

Huber, Jr. Cincinnati
53 punts for 2,484 yards, 46.9 yards per kick, 18 inside
the 20
Third Team

A.J.
Jefferson, Soph. Fresno State
26 returns, 930 yards, 35.77 yards per return, 2 touchdowns
Not only was Jefferson the nation's leading kickoff
returner, he led the nation by almost four yards per return.
He didn't get an attempt over the first three games, and was
out the last two, but in between he became college
football's most dangerous playmakers with three touchdowns
in WAC play.
Second Team
Matt
Slater, Sr. UCLA
30 returns for 928 yards, 3 TD, 30.93-yard average

Kevin Robinson, Sr. Utah State
20 returns for 378 yds, 1 TD, 18.9-yard average
The nation's best all-around kick returner was devastating
on kickoff returns and was even better on punt returns with
a nation-leading 18.9-yard average. As the season went on,
teams stopped putting the ball in his hands, but that helped
the cause giving the Aggies decent field position time and
again.
Second Team Leodis
McKelvin, Sr. Troy
25 returns for 436 yards, 3 TDs, 17.44-yard average
Third Team
Deon
Murphy, Jr. Kansas State
