Boise State
QB
11 Kellen Moore, 6-0, 181, RFr.
Position Spotlight: This quarterback situation was an
issue last year and Taylor Tharp turned out to be solid. Now it's a
battle again, and once again Bush Hamdan is in the center of the
fight to go along with Nick Lomax, son of former NFL star, Neil
Lomax, and Mike Coughlin. Meanwhile, Moore hung around and showed
enough upside to potentially get the nod over Hamdan, but the job is
still open.
RB 41 Ian Johnson, 5-11, 195, Sr.
RB 27 Jeremy Avery, 5-9, 172, So.
WR 9 Jeremy Childs, 6-0, 191, Jr.
WR 87 Austin Pettis, 6-3, 200, So.
TE 88 Chris O’Neill, 6-3, 233, Sr.
OT -- Nate Potter, 6-6, 272, Fr.
OG 60 Andrew Woodruff, 6-2, 336, Sr.
C 65 Thomas Byrd, 6-0, 277, RFr.
OG 76 Jon Gott, 6-3, 281, Sr.
OT 62 Kevin Sapien, 6-4, 260, So.
PK 35 Kyle Brotzman, 5-10, 172, So.
DE 98 Ryan Winterswyk, 6-4, 259, So.
DT 67 Joe Bozikovich, 6-1, 279, Sr.
DT 53 Sean Bingham, 6-3, 265, Sr.
DE 93 Mike T. Williams, 6-3, 245, Sr.
LB 44 Kyle Gingg, 5-11, 216, Sr.
LB 52 Derrell Acrey, 6-2, 232, So.
LB 24 Tim Brady, 6-1, 205, Sr.

S 23 Jeron Johnson, 5-11, 190, So.
S 5 Jason Robinson, 6-0, 190, So.
CB 38 Brandyn Thompson, 5-10, 166, RFr.
P 49 Brad Elkin, 6-3, 191, So.
Fresno State
QB
7 Tom Brandstater, 6-5, 220, Sr.
RB 21 Ryan Mathews, 5-11, 205, So.
FB 22 Anthony Harding, 6-0, 215, Jr.
WR 6 Chastin West, 6-1, 210, Jr.
WR 5 Marlon Moore, 6-1, 185, Jr.
TE 85 Bear Pascoe, 6-5, 260, Sr.
OT 72 Bobby Lepori, 6-5, 285, Sr.
OG 62 Cole Popovich, 6-3, 285, Sr.
C 76 Adam McDowell, 6-4, 285, Sr.
OG 69 Andrew Jackson, 6-5, 290, So.
OT 73 Kenny Avon, 6-3, 285, Sr.
PK 35 Kevin Goessling, 5-10, 180, RFr.
DE 41 Ikenna Ike, 6-3, 245, Sr.
Position Spotlight: Who's going to take over the pass
rushing duties from Tyler Clutts? After a big spring, it appears to
be Ikenna Ike as he'll be the team's top playmaker in the backfield
(at least that's the hope), While Wilson Ramos and Chris Carter will
get more than their share of chances.
NT 50 Cornell Banks, 6-3, 285, So.
DT 94 Jon Monga, 6-2, 280, Sr.
DE 96 Wilson Ramos, 6-5, 265, Jr.
LB 10 Nico Herron, 6-2, 235, So.
LB 54 Ben Jacobs, 6-3, 225, So.
LB 32 Quaadir Brown, 6-2, 215, Jr.
CB 8 Sharrod Davis, 6-0, 185, Sr.
SS 3 Moses Harris, 6-1, 200, Jr.
FS 19 Marvin Haynes, 6-1, 205, Jr.
CB 4 Damion Owens, 6-1 185, Jr.
P 42 Robert Malone, 6-2, 215, So.
Hawaii
QB 11
Inoke Funaki, 5-11, 195, Jr.
RB 26 Daniel Libre, 5-8, 185, Sr.
Position Spotlight: Everyone's wondering about the
passing game and which quarterback will be under center. Literally,
under center, which is a change from the shotgun June Jones ran all
the time. The Warriors will be able to throw the ball just fine, but
now they're going to run it a little bit, too, with Libre playing a
big role.
WR 1 Greg Salas, 6-2, 195, So.
WR 89 Malcolm Lane, 6-2, 185, Jr.
WR 5 Mike Washington, 5-7, 175, Sr.
WR 85 Aaron Bain, 5-9, 190, Sr.
OT 77 Aaron Kia, 6-5, 300, Jr.
OG 62 Keith AhSoon, 6-1, 315, Sr.
C 55 John Estes, 6-2, 290, Jr.
OG 51 Latu Tuioti-Mariner, 6-0, 285, Sr.
OT 78 Keoni Steinhoff, 6-3, 280, Sr.
PK 86 Dan Kelly, 6-3, 210, Sr.
DE 94 David Veikune, 6-3, 250, Sr.
DT 96 Fale Laeli, 6-1, 290, Sr.
DT 68 Keala Watson, 6-3, 300, Sr.
DE 58 John Fonoti, 6-3, 250, Jr.
LB 53 Blaze Soares, 6-1, 240, Jr.
LB 17 Solomon Elimimian, 6-0, 220, Sr.
LB 44 Adam Leonard, 6-0, 235, Sr.
CB 2 Ryan Mouton, 5-10, 80, Sr.
SS 35 Keao Monteilh, 5-11, 195, Sr.
FS 24 Desmond Thomas, 6-3, 174 Sr.
CB 3 Jameel Dowling, 6-3, 205, Sr.
P 49 Tim Grasso, 5-11, 221, Sr.
Idaho
QB
10 Nathan Enderle, 6-5, 225, So.
RB 3 Deonte Jackson, 5-8, 181, Sr.
HB 18 Eddie Williams, 6-1, 249, Sr.
Position Spotlight: The offense needs to be more
efficient through the air, and that means Nathan Enderle, assuming
the job really is his, needs a steady safety valve. The Vandals plan
to use their tight ends more, and that means even more of a role for
Williams, a top tight end/H-Back who could turn out to be the team's
leading receiver and could run a bit, too.
WR 2 Maurice Shaw, 6-2, 188, So.
WR 22 Max Komar, 5-10, 185, Jr.
TE 89 Peter Bjorvik, 6-4, 259, Jr.
OT 62 Adam Juratovac, 6-3, 297, Jr.
OG 77 Mike Iupati, 6-6, 330, Sr.
C 72 Adam Korby, 6-2, 292, Sr.
OG 65 Kris Anderson, 6-3, 299, Sr.
OT 71 Billy Bates, 6-5, 271, Sr.
PK 19 Tino Amancio, 5-9, 215, Sr.
DE 57 Taylor Rust, 6-2, 232, Sr.
DT 95 Aaron Lavarias, 6-3, 244, So.
DT 61 Jonah Sataraka, 6-2, 243, So.
DE 98 Josh Shaw, 6-2, 254, Sr.
LB 34 JoJo Dickson, 6-1, 202, So.
LB 45 Jonathan Faraimo, 5-11, 220, So.
LB 31 Justin Allen, 5-11, 207, So.
CB 23 Kenneth Patten, 5-9, 172, RFr.
SS 10 Shiloh Keo, 5-10, 175, Jr.
FS 24 Virdell Larkins, 6-0, 195, Jr.
CB 27 Isaac Butts, 6-0, 167, So.
P 14 T.J. Conley, 6-3, 210, Sr.
Louisiana Tech
QB 11 Ross Jenkins, 6-2, 203, So.
Position Spotlight: Jenkins was listed as the starter
coming out of spring ball, and he could be the man starting the
season, but he'll have to look over his shoulder to hold off Georgia
Tech transfer Taylor Bennett and Auburn transfer Steve Ensminger.
It's almost assumed that Bennett will step in and take the job, but
Jenkins won't go down without a fight.
RB 23 Patrick Jackson, 5-10, 193, Sr.
U 47 Anthony Harrison, 6-3, 242, Sr.
WR 6 Phillip Livas, 5-8, 170, So.
WR 82 Philip Beck, 5-10, 177, Sr.
TE 49 Dennis Morris, 6-4, 245, Jr.
OT 74 Rob McGill, 6-7, 292, So.
OG 66 David Accardo, 6-4, 318, Sr.
C 60 Lon Roberts, 6-3, 272, So.
OG 67 Jared Miles, 6-3, 320, So.
OT 76 Cudahy Harmon, 6-8, 320, So.
PK 33 Brad Oestriecher, 5-11, 184, Sr.
DE 85 Randy Grigsby, 6-3, 242, So.
DT 90 Mason Hitt, 6-2, 244, So.
DT 5 D’Anthony Smith, 6-2, 288, Jr.
DE 97 Kwame Jordan, 6-3, 245, Jr.
LB 36 Brian White, 6-1, 217, Jr.
LB 58 Brannon Jackson, 6-1, 256, Sr.
LB 37 Quin Harris, 6-2, 221, Sr.
CB 35 Weldon Brown, 5-10, 184 Sr.
SS 25 Deon Young, 5-11, 197 Jr.
FS 34 Antonio Baker, 5-11, 200 Jr.
CB 28 Terry Carter, 5-10, 170, RFr.
P 17 Chris Kaegle, 6-0, 233, Sr.
Nevada
QB 10 Colin Kaepernick, 6-6, 215, So.
RB 7 Luke Lippincott, 6-2, 215, Sr.
WR 4 Marko Mitchell, 6-4, 200, Sr.
WR 14 Chris Wellington, 6-1, 185, So.
WR 89 Mike McCoy, 6-0, 190, Sr.
TE 98 Junior Puloka, 6-4, 240, Jr.
OT 50 Mike Gallett, 6-6, 295, So.
OG 62 John Bender, 6-8, 325, So.
C 61 Dominic Green, 6-3, 295, Sr.
OG 60 Greg Hall, 6-3, 290, Sr.
OT 73 Alonzo Durham, 6-4, 285, Jr.
PK 13 Brett Jaekle, 6-4, 210, Sr.
DE 55 Dontay Moch, 6-1, 220, So.
DT 94 Mundrae Clifton, 6-2, 290, Sr.
DT 95 Nate Agaiava, 6-2, 285, So.
DE 99 Kevin Basped, 6-6, 240, So.
LB 26 Adam Liranzo, 6-4, 210, So.
LB 30 Joshua Mauga, 6-2, 245, Sr.
LB 54 Jerome Johnson, 6-1, 253, Sr.
CB 32 Kenny Viser, 6-1, 195, So.
SS 49 Jonathon Amaya, 6-2, 190, Jr.
FS 17 Ucha Anyanwu, 6-4, 220, Sr.
Position Spotlight: There's Anyanwu, and a whole bunch of
uncertainty. As the only sure-thing starter in a changing secondary
that's getting an influx of JUCO transfers, Anyanwu has to be a
steady producer at whichever safety spot he plays. A strong safety
by trade, he'll likely play free safety early on. He'll move around
depending on who emerges out of the newcomers.
CB 19 Doyle Miller, 5-11, 185, So.
P 13 Brett Jaekle, 6-4, 210, Sr.
New Mexico
State
QB 12 Chase Holbrook, 6-5, 240, Sr.
RB 23 Tonny Glynn, 5-8, 190, Jr.
WR 18 A.J. Harris, 6-0, 208, Sr.
WR 2 Wes Neiman, 5-10, 185, So.
WR 28 Chris Williams, 5-9, 155, Sr.
TE 82 Ryan Franzoy, 6-4, 230, So.
OT 78 Kyle Smith, 6-6, 323, So.
OG 76 Chuck Taylor, 6-3, 345, So.
C 63 Richie Bolin, 6-1, 291, Sr.
OG 65 Polo Gutierrez, 6-2, 304, Sr.
OT 73 Patrick Blount, 6-3, 270, So.
Position Spotlight: Who's going to keep Chase Holbrook
upright? Obviously, the more time the star quarterback has, the more
lethal he'll be, and while the interior is set with three returning
starters, both tackles need to be replaced. The massive Kyle Smith
has to prove he can handle speed rushers, while Blount appears to be
a keeper on the right side.
PK 96 Kyle Hughes, 6-0, 182, RFr.
DE 11 La’Auli Fonoti, 6-4, 253, Sr.
DT 97 Rhyan Anderson, 6-4, 280, Sr.
NG 90 E.J. Cannon, 6-0, 305, Jr.
DT 95 Oren Long, 6-2, 245, Sr.
DE 51 Ross Conner, 5-10, 216, Jr.
LB 42 Nick Paden, 6-3, 235, Jr.
CB 27 Vincent Butler, 5-10, 177, Sr.
SS 41 Brennen Biaimonte, 6-0, 204, Sr.
SS 31 Alphonso Powell, 5-9, 176, So.
FS 22 Derrick Richardson, 5-11, 190, Sr.
CB 4 Davon House, 6-0, 168, So.
P 96 Kyle Hughes, 6-0, 182, RFr.
San Jose State
QB 13 Myles Eden, 6-1, 182, Jr.
RB 43 James Callier, Jr., 6-0, 225, Sr.
RB 33 Dominique Hunsucker, 5-10, 194, Jr.
WR 8 David Richmond, 6-4, 200, Sr.
WR 6 Kevin Jurovich, 6-0, 183, Sr.
TE 9 Jeff Clark, 6-5, 250, Sr.
OT 65 Fred Koloto, 6-3, 290, So.
OG 72 Isaac Leatiota, 6-4, 295 So.
C 79 Ronnie Castillo, 6-0, 292, Jr.
OG 73 Ailao Eliapo, 6-2, 320, So.
OT 59 Jon Moreno, 6-4, 280, Jr.
PK 10 Jared Strebeck, 5-8, 176, Sr.
DE 44 Jeff Schweiger, 6-5, 285, Sr
DT 90 Jarron Gilbert, 6-6, 280, Sr.
DT 94 Kalvin Cressel, 6-4, 282 Jr.
DE 95 Carl Ihenacho, 6-3, 245, Jr.
LB 19 Duke Ihenacho, 6-1, 200 So.
LB 14 Travis Jones, 6-1, 220, Jr.
LB 93 Justin Cole, 6-3, 240, Jr.
CB 29 Christopher Owens, 5-10, 170, Sr.
SS 22 Andrew Ryan, 6-0, 195, Sr.
FS 24 Devin Newsome, 5-10, 165, So.
CB 4 Coye Francies, 6-1, 185, Sr.
Position Spotlight: The defense should be excellent. The
line is terrific, the linebacking corps should be solid, and the
secondary gets back a nice corner in Christopher Owens. It's
Francies who's expected to become the star as both a shut-down
corner and a kick returner. The former Oregon State transfer has all
the tools.
P 18 Shaheen Purfallah, 5-11, 200 RFr.
Utah State
QB 10 Sean Setzer, 6-2, 227, Sr.
RB 27 Curtis Marsh, 5-11, 194, So.
FB 32 Jacob Actkinson, 6-0, 226, So.
WR 14 Otis Nelson, 6-4, 214, Sr.
Position Spotlight: The horrific Aggie passing game
hasn't exactly been the quarterbacks' fault. Well, it's been a
little part of the problem, but outside of Kevin Robinson, who's off
to the NFL, there hasn't been any production from the other targets.
Big veteran Otis Nelson has to become more of a factor now, and he
wasn't this off-season.
WR 11 Stanley Morrison, 5-8, 156, RFr.
TE 86 Rob Myers, 6-4, 240, Sr.
OT 52 Spencer Johnson, 6-5, 292, So.
OG 69 Ty Rogers, 6-3, 300, So.

OG 68 Phillip Gapelu, 6-1, 309, RFr.
OT 77 Derek Hoke, 6-9, 315, Sr.
PK 38 Peter Caldwell, 6-4, 240, So.
DE 93
Gregg Clark, 6-4, 277, Sr.
DT 58 Ben Calderwood, 6-2, 267, Sr.
DT 92 Casey Davis, 6-3, 284, Jr.
DE 54 Nathan Royster, 6-0, 256, So.
LB 43 Kyle Gallagher, 6-0, 198, So.
LB 53 Jake Hutton, 6-0, 236, Sr.
LB 31 Paul Igboeli, 6-0, 211, Jr.
CB 7 Chris Randle, 5-10, 180, So.
SS 26 James Brindley, 5-10, 195, Jr.
FS 39 Caleb Taylor, 6-3, 193, Sr.
CB 1 Kejon Murphy, 5-8, 160, Jr.
P 38 Peter Caldwell, 6-4, 240, So.
