Ball State vs. Navy Sept. 5
Who to watch: WR Dante Love
Love had nine receptions for 171 yards and a
touchdown against Northeastern last week, but the Cardinals showed that
they are willing to get him the ball in more creative ways with his
three rushes for 22 yards and a score.
Central Michigan @ Georgia Sept. 6
Who to watch: RB Ontario Sneed
If Sneed can be a little productive and keep the
pressure off of QB Dan LeFevour, then Central Michigan has a chance to
keep pace with Georgia's offense.
Eastern Michigan @ Michigan St. Sept. 6
Who to watch: RB Terrance Blevins
Granted it was against Indiana St. but Blevins
still rushed for 176 yards and two scores. The Eagles will have problems
stopping the Spartan offense so they need to show some pop of their own.
Northern Illinois @ Western Michigan Sept. 6
Who to watch: QB Chandler Harnish
Harnish showed he can be a good player for this
experienced Husky team by throwing for 326 yards and two touchdowns. Now
after the tough Minnesota loss can he who consistency on a game-to-game
basis starting with a veteran Western Michigan defense.
Toledo @ Arizona Sept. 6
Who to watch: CB Desmond Marrow
Arizona is going to throw the ball a lot and
Marrow is the only member of Toledo's secondary not to have any starting
experience, it will be interesting to see how he holds up against WR
Mike Thomas and company.
Western Michigan vs. Northern Illinois Sept. 6
Who to watch: TE Branden Ledbetter
Nebraska had problems defending Ledbetter who had
nine catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. The Huskies had some
problems defending the seams against Minnesota, if that happens against
the Broncos then Ledbetter should improve on his numbers from last week.
