Player of the week

East Carolina QB Patrick Pinkney completed 19 of 23 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown, and ran 11 times for 24 yards and a score in the 27-22 win over Virginia Tech.

1. QB Pat White, Sr. West Virginia
White went 25-of-33 for 208 yards, five touchdowns and an interception, while leading the team with 63 rushing yards on nine carries in the 48-21 win over Villanova.

QB Graham Harrell, Sr. Texas Tech
Harrell completed 43 of 58 passes for 536 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. He also ran for a score in the 49-24 win over Eastern Washington.

3. QB Chase Daniel, Sr. Missouri
Daniel completed 26 of 45 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns and an interception in the 52-42 win over Illinois.

QB Tim Tebow, Sr. Florida
Tebow completed nine of 14 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in the 56-10 win over Hawaii. 

5. RB Chris Wells, Jr. Ohio State
Ohio State RB Chris Wells ran 13 times for 111 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for ten yards in the 43-0 win over Youngstown State before getting hurt.

6. RB Knowshon Moreno, Soph. Georgia
Moreno ran eight times for 59 yards and three touchdowns, and caught two passes for 53 yards in the 45-21 win over Georgia Southern.

7. RB Damion Fletcher, Jr. Southern Miss
Fletcher ran 21 times for 222 yards and two touchdowns, and LB Gerald McRath made 15 tackles in the 51-21 win over UL Lafayette.

8. RB P.J. Hill, Jr. Wisconsin
Wisconsin RB P.J. Hill ran 26 times for 210 yards and two touchdowns in the 38-17 win over Akron.

9. QB Todd Reesing, Jr. Kansas
Reesing completed  37 of 52 passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns with an interception in the 40-10 win over FIU. 

10. The Honorary Number Ten
Navy RB Shun White ran 19 times for 348 yards and three touchdowns in the 41-13 win over Towson.
