CFN Pac 10 Player of the Year

Player of the Year – Rey Maulauga, LB USC
If the Pac 10 season was all about the USC defense, then the player of the year has to be its signature star. Certainly it could've been Taylor Mays, Brian Cushing, or Fili Moala who took the prize as the star of the USC defense, but the all-timer of a season revolved around the heart and soul of the team, Maualuga. The fiery sideline-to-sideline star combined with Cushing to wreak havoc all season long in the Pac 10 with dominant game after dominant game. .

Offensive Player of the Year – Jahvid Best, RB California
Could you imagine what he could do fully healthy? Best struggled to be 100% early on, but eh managed to finish his season with 1,580 yards and 15 touchdowns, highlighted by a 311-yard, four touchdown effort against Washington. He also proved to be a deadly kickoff returner and a nice receiver with 27 catches for 246 yards and a score.
