QB Case Keenum, Houston

Keenum isn’t just a good quarterback; he’s the nation’s most prolific returning quarterback after accounting for more than 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in a breakthrough sophomore season. Tailor-made for this pass-happy attack, he climbed up the school’s passing charts, while stringing together 13 straight games of at least 300 yards passing and finishing No. 9 nationally in passing efficiency. While not exactly the prototype at 6-1 and 210 pounds, he has a feel for the position that you’d expect from a coach’s son and great footwork, especially when the pocket begins to collapse.

The great ECU defensive front all begins with Wilson, one of the country’s premier pass rushers. For the third straight, he harassed opponents to the tune of 70 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks. Now, 6-4 and 271 pounds, he’s big enough to stop the run like a tackle, yet quick enough to have squatter’s rights in the other team’s backfields.
